Quotes from the airport to W Bali – Seminyak, taken in the apps on 10 May 2026, 07:02–07:20 Bali time — early morning, no rain. Grab showed a Rp20,000 promo already applied; the normal Grab price was Rp20,000 higher. Peak hours, rain and holidays push app prices up.

This is the route where the three options are closest. Gojek was cheapest for a standard car, Bluebird’s fixed fare a whisker behind, and Grab about Rp20,000 more — despite a promo already applied. Gojek’s nicer categories, on the other hand, were the most expensive (Rp204,500 for Comfort), so compare like with like.

Drive times

Seminyak is three places

Hotels describe themselves as “Seminyak” anywhere from Legian’s northern edge to Petitenget and Batu Belig. The further north, the longer the ride: Petitenget and Batu Belig add 10–20 minutes in traffic. Put the exact hotel into the app, not the area name.

When a taxi beats the app

  • You do not have data yet. The taxi counter in arrivals needs no phone. Ask the fixed price before you pay; counter prices are not published online.
  • The app shows long waits. At busy arrival times the app can show long waits. A counter taxi leaves now.
  • You are four with luggage. GrabCar Airport is rated for four passengers and 60 kg of bags; with more, ask at the counter or book a transfer with a bigger car.

For two people with normal bags in daylight, there is nothing to optimise here. Book whichever app is open on your phone.
